I’m on Hold
I’m on hold
I’ve been told
By a computerized voice
That I have no choice.
All operators are busy assisting
Other customers who are insisting
Their problems are bigger than mine.
Tunes and Time combine.
Paralytic boredom created.
My fulfillment frustrated.
And
I’m still on hold
I’ve been told
By a computerized voice
That I have no choice.
I really love the simplicity of the rhyme scheme in this poem. As a literary blogger, I love finding great poems, and I am so inspired by these simple rhymes.

I have found three things to be indispensable in those situations: (1) patience, (2) speaker phones, and (3) an ability to multitask……………lol
